Now USA's tariff war makes people from different countries worry a lot.
For our Aluminum flood barrier and ABS flood barrier, does it affect much?
We heard that The United States excludes steel, aluminum, copper, and gold from equivalent tariffs of 34%.
The White House stated that imported steel and aluminum will not be affected by equivalent tariffs, which will at least provide some relief for domestic buyers. The United States has imposed a 25% tariff on all imported steel and aluminum, which are critical metals used in various products from cars to dishwashers.
The White House stated in the fact sheet that it will not impose the tariffs announced by US President Donald Trump on steel and aluminum that have already been subject to Section 232 tariffs. This decision indicates that the government has at least provided some room for maneuver for the metal market.
The exemption clause also mentions gold and copper.
This means our Aluminum flood barrier won't be charged 34% equivant tariff, this is good news for our flood control products.
But still tariff war would be a big problem for us to overcome.
